Was looking into my tank at night and saw this strange creature

It is hard to tell with the camera movement, but it looks like an Emerald Crab wedging itself into a crevice. Did you buy any Emerald Crabs as clean-up crew? If not, try to get a still picture for ID.

I think he is talking about the purple thing on the frag rock thing, not the emerald crab on the big rock

The purple thing is a chiton, algae eater I believe.
