I've had a purple LTA for about a month or so now. For the first few weeks it stayed put on the floor.. then it started to move over the course of 2 days. It is now been hiding in a cave fully open for about a week or so now. It looks to be losing its purple...
I also have 2 BTA's, couple rock nems all doing fine. 75g lit by 2 radions.. highest setting is about 60%

That won't be enough.

I would suggest putting the lights at whatever % you normally have them, and put 3 layers of window screening b/t the tank and the lights -- can use egg crate to support the screening. Would remove a layer every 5-7 days -- the other corals/inverts in your tank won't be bothered by them.

Also, how deep is your sandbed?
How much flow?

Unfortunately, he's hidden in a cave with foot planted.

It may be hiding in a cave because your lights are too Bright and it's not acclimated. There are basically two things that would make it do that, too much light or too much flow. I would be making adjustments to those to see the LTA's reaction.

little update: I've been battling cyano & messing around with the placement of my mp40, mp10.
Anywho.. the nem is still in the cave, but it actually seems to be fine. It's still quite bleached but still has the color on it's tips. Mouth is closed.. sooo we'll see in the coming months. I nursed a RBTA backed from being bleeched.
