Purple Monster TakeOver

Hi Reefers,
I have a Zoa garden and they have reached the point in which they are interspersing. The purple monsters are very aggressive and are starting to crowd out some of the other other zoas.
I tried injecting lemon juice and they back off for a few days but come back strong!
How do I stop these Purple Monsters!

Surgically excise them with a scalpel

back in the day we just did it. Nowadays, you better don level 4 containment hazmat suits, lock up your beagles, and install a fumigation hood over the home daring to touch zoanthids. Heck u better warn the family down the street while you’re at it.
