What could this be on the rock that my GSP came on?

discosoma mushroom, usually you have to buy them seperate but looks like you got a freebie.

That’s pretty cool. Would it be possible to separate it from this rock and glue it elsewhere or will it be fine there?

It's very difficult to manually remove mushrooms from rocks without damaging them. If you really want it to move you can try positioning the rock in such a way that you can place another small rock directly on top of the mushroom. It IS a coral, but can move like an anemone. If you place a rock on it, it will likely move onto that and then you can place it elsewhere in the tank.

Or, you can frag off the part of the rock the mushroom is attached to.

They wont bother each other.

If you do remove it, you'll have to leave it in a low flow part of your tank with rubble so that it can attach to something you can put glue on. You can't directly glue a mushroom as they secrete mucus when handled.
