I have an abundance of these very small (3-4 mm across) polyps. Just looking for an ID. They have spread throughout my frag tank and are irritating some of my soft corals (and a small clam). I attached a picture that shows a number of them around a scoly I am trying to nurse back from the dead. Thanks.

Could you get a white light photo? Do they have small stalks? Could be hydroid colony or something else
Here are a few more pics, the one is very zoomed in. Apparently I also had a hiding aiptasia..

Could actually be hydroids as well.

I think I have the same issue, never seen them for years and all of a sudden they are everywhere. What are they and how do you kill them without bothering all the other frags.

I don't remember the exact methodology, there are some threads here on Reef2Reef for good strategies to get rid of them. I seem to remember a thread where someone was dosing some kind of medication that killed the sympodium, and only the sympodium. See if you can find that thread.
