I have a 28 gallon JBJ cube. I have a purple pseudochromis around 2 inches in it with my corals. All has been good for a couple of months. Today I noticed he is going behind rock against the back of the tank and getting a mouth full of sand and going to the middle of the tank and dropping in on top of my large goniopora. He is doing this very often. He will get sand get about 4 inches over the goniopora and drop the sand from his mouth. Needles to say the goni is not happy with this. Is there something that might be causing this? If this continues the little purple guy will have to find another place to live. lol

Never heard of this behavior. Maybe he feels the goni is invading his territory? Purple pseudos can be aggressive though I think.

I can't figure it out. Like I said if he keeps it up he will have to be removed. My goni is my favorite.
