Im done with these monsters. I have one in each of 3 tanks. All were great for months. First one in my big tank swam into overflo twice and is again in the sump. Now it can stay there. In my 93, it is bullying the clowns at feeding time stealing all the food. Now in my dropoff tank, I noticed as i was about to feed, this purple jerk was goid and fat and asked myself HOW??
Before I left for work just realized that jerk attacked my 3 year old skunk cleaner shrimp during molt and passed it on to my largest rock anemone!! I will trap him and introduce him to the next biggest rock anemone in that tank and he can experience what my shrimp did !!!

No need to kill him...catch and rehome them....

These are one of the species that give the dottyback family a bad name and one I'd urge everyone to steer clear of unless they want one solo fish in a nano.

You sure what your RFA was eating wasn't a molt? I leave my shrimps molts in the tanks and typically either an acan, or one of my RFA's eat it.

They really are best off in a large tank with tangs, angels, triggers, etc.

They are really pretty, and cheap, so I can see why people buy them....but beware!

Not killing it, just giving it an attitude adjustment. Im offering it to a local club with warning of its behavior
