Purple spots. Is this coralline?

Some weeks back, i got a few pieces of coralline flakes foc from the lfs. I broke it into a few smaller pieces and scattered them throughout the tank. Few days ago i added one dose of purple up. The pieces of broken coralline flakes appear no different, besides being covered in some ugly brown algae, but today i noticed some purple spots on the rock. Could this be coralline spreading?

Are you talking about the rocks or the sand bed? For some reason your sand bed has a purple tint in the picture. I do see multiple types of coralline on the rocks though.

It looks like some purple Coraline on rocks.

I'm referring to the rocks... I never noticed the sand... Hmm....
