Purple stuff on rock

Not the best picture. Purple stuff on my rock (which does get some direct sunlight) with bubbles under it. I turkey basted and sucked some of it off. What is it?

Cynobacteria. Increase movement to that zone and feed your fish thriftiness. At least you can use "chemiclean" as last solution.

I had the exact same stuff for awhile until I picked up a few turbo snails and a sea urchin. In a week it was totally gone.
