Hi reefers, I have a purple stylo in my tank and I discover it is turning white/pale recently, it has been in the tank about 3 weeks. My water parameters:

Alk: 7.6 dkh
Cal: 464 ppm
Mag: 1370 ppm
No3: 3ppm
Po4: 3ppb (Hanna Phosphate ULR)

Is it just still light acclimating or something wrong with my parameters that caused that?

What lighting are you using and where in the tank is the coral?

Im using RB Photon V2+, 40% royal blue and cold blue for 2 hours, 8 hours photoperiod. The coral is placed 10" below the water surface on a piece of rock, with a JB powerhead and MP40 on each end of my tank provide some water movement.

My tank temp is between 80.5 to 82 F, I use my Apex control the temp fluctuation so no more than 1.5 F per day.

Likely just getting used to the light, the coral looks happy enough with polyps extended. I wouldn't move it around yet or anything, just see what it does. If it keeps getting lighter, maybe move it down several inches in the tank or in a more shady area.

Not too familiar with that light but I don't think it should be bleaching it at those settings. How high above the water is it? Tank temp is a couple degrees higher than the standard but I doubt that is doing it. Probably just getting acclimated still. Takes about 3 weeks for a coral to really settle in.
