Purple Tang in 70 Gallon?????

SO i have this 70 gallon reef tank established for about 3 moths now i only plan to add 2 davinci clowns and y would like a purple tang they are so beautiful can it be done?

Yes like in 2 years my brother is going tu leave town so y would stay with his 100 gallon

Negative to the tang purple or any other.

Pygmy angel is a good choice be it coral beauty or flame back. Both will be pretty active and visible so that splash of movement and color is there. Could also look at a starcki damsel - larger of damsels and very striking when you can find them. Pretty fish.

Algae control if you must and a fish a blenny is good. Lawnmower while bland is nice. Bi color is also great - starry is nice and has a nice color that stands out. 70 gallon is pretty decent and has some options to have a medium size fish with color stand out for that shamwow factor

As mentioned, not even having 3 feet in length kills the possibility of even a Tomini Tang (smallest one available) in your tank. I wouldn't even put a Coral Beauty or Dwarf Angel in there as I feel they are best suited for a 4 foot long tank. That said a Pygmy Angel might work in a tank that size as they max out at 3 inches in length but need the space as they are very active. Examples of Pygmy Angels are the Cherubfish, Flameback Angel, Yellowtail, Fisher's and Multicolor. Of the bunch the Cherubfish is probably the one I would recommend the most. Flamebacks and Yellowtails tend to be fairly aggressive.
