Purple tang in 90 gallon

What is the consensus on keeping s single purple tang in a 90 gallon? There will be no other tangs, and probably no dwarf angels either. Tankmates would be pair of perculas, blue spot jawfish, starry blenny, Midas blenny, chromis, trio of fairy or flasher wrasses and a mandarin.

Place the purple tang in last. Let the other fish get accumulated first.

Yeah if I did decide to do it, the tang would be last. Is a 90 too small? I feel kind of guilty for even considering it

Really don't know . Mine was in a 210 had to pull him out too agressive.

I have a yellow and purple in my shallow 4ft and there fat and happy.

I kept my purple tang in a 75 gallon for 3 years and he was happy and healthy so yours should be fine in a 90 gallon

My purple is rather happy and healthy in my 75. I've had him considerably less time than some, but he's in there with a yellow eye kole tang with no issues.

If I did, it would only be for max 2 years. My husband is in the navy so we move a lot. So tehoming is never an issue for me.

It will eventually out grow the tank but should be fine for a while

Just make sure to add it last esp after other zebrasoma tangs!
