Purple tang in QT.

@melypr1985 could it be poor oxygenation in QT? Perhaps add an air stone or have power heads breaking the surface to help.

It never hurts to provide additional gas exchange. However, the fish should be breathing heavy if low O2 is to blame.
 
Just wanted to come back and update the thread. Thank you to everyone for the suggestions and especially to Humblefish for the food suggestions. Happy to report the Purple has been moved to the main tank and is doing good. The Live blackworms is what did it. I was able to slowly move him to Brine Shrimp then smaller pieces of Mysis. He still passes on the large pieces of PE Mysis and not eating pellets yet but hopefully soon. At least he is alive and eating. Thanks again everyone for the help and advice!

Very nice, I have a PT that refused to eat anything in QT, including live black worms and live brine. Put him in the DT last week and he has eaten some algae off the sand, but still swims right through any food. Stubborn fish :mad:
