Purple tang in QT

Have you tested the copper level? If not you may not be at the level you think you are. Also, I will take a few days for the ich that was on the tang to release from the fish. Make sure when the copper is finished the fish is removed to a new clean tank. If you remove the copper from the current QT and leave the fish in it there is a chance it can be re-infected.

Doesn't anyone use hyposalinity and FW dips to address Ich?

I found it to be effective.

Are there any alternatives to this? or do you think a 10g would be a sufficient sized tank. Its all I have in terms of extra tank but I was under the impressing being in such a small tank would stress it out more than anything.

I was planning on doing a few 50% water changes with tank water over the course of a week and then treat with prazipro.

Thanks everyone for the valuable advice, I don't think I took the opportunity to mention it!

Cupramine treatment should be finished over the weekend. Decided I will transfer him over to my 10 gallon for the meantime...

I noticed he doesnt appear to have any visible signs of Ich left, he's still breathing pretty heavy though. Would this be more likely due to the cupramine or should I continue with my plan to treat with Prazipro? I haven't noticed any flashing in the last few days but I had come to the conclusion I was better off treating for flukes.
