I'm quarantining a purple tang, which has been in QT for about 3 weeks now. I've gone through the Metroplex and PraziPro regimes, and all is well. I did not start off doing copper, and I do not see any signs of ich/velvet/oodinium. Fish is eating well and aggressively. At this point, is it worth it to do the copper? I have time to do it, as I have about another month of a fallow period for my DT. I'm pretty sure the resounding answer I will get is "yes, do it," but I don't want to expose the fish unnecessarily to copper if I don't have to.

Yes. Do it. Copper, applied correctly, won’t harm the fish, but it will give you peace of mind that it isn’t bringing any new parasites into your fallowed tank.
