Purple tang large white spot.

I have a purple tang, just noticed white spot, almost looks like an injury from another tang. I do have a powder brown tang and a foxface. The purple tang is the bully of the tank, anyways doesn’t look like ich or velvet. I’ve had him 4 months last night noticed white spot. Just wondering if it’s an injury from fighting with another fish or disease? Looks like a gun shot with a center area

With that center, it does look like a spine injury. It seems to be above the body cavity, so it should have missed vital organs.
This may heal on its own. The biggest risk would be secondary bacterial infection. To treat that, you’d need to move the fish to a hospital tank and dose with antibiotics.

Picking an antibiotic is mostly just a guess. You’ll want a broad spectrum gram negative one; furan-2, Neoplex or Maracyn 2 are all possible choices.
