Purple tang mouth spits

Any body have any idea what’s going on with this tangs mouth? Both sides have what look like white lumps. He’s feeding normally. Photos suck, best I can do though...

most likely from hitting rock for algae or fight with another fish.

lol then yah most likely hitting rocks. i dont see a lot of algae on rocks so he might be trying hard to eat some. do place some sea weed or nori in the tank for it to consume.
