Yea right! HA like petco has every size purple in stock and under priced. Red Sea is really hard to fish these days because their limited on what they can take, when, how, and what specific fish it is. You never see purples the way they were priced and how many there were being brought in. Im a Purple tang lover and ive been looking for a small one for 2 years, without lateral line disease and not 200-300$ @ 3-4inches. Stinks!

I do see you can get one on Petco.com for $99, but I think you still have to pay for shipping. Do you have a link you can help us with?

I do know that the Petco store will often price match their website.

the price is for the websight order only shipping is 35 bucks icalled them up and gave me another discount so with tax shipping and purp is 125 deliverd to my door. ill get pics up as soon as I get him/her

I had one that was 3" donated it to my lfs 900 gallon. I got it for 15$. I posted a thread about it. They sold it to my mom as a "assorted parrot fish" I had 45$ in store credit so total it was 60$. I had her for about 2 months in my 55. I was waiting for my lfs to have their 900 cycle. I also donated a beautiful sailfin.
The store who sold me it has fish in terrible conditions and always mark their. Fish incorrectly. I donated them both to a different store.

The petco by my house has purple tangs all the time for $49 -99. Depending on the sale. The guy that works there is part of our reef club and will order them and not put them in their system rather letting us pick them up upon arrival.

i ordered out the smallest I ended up getting one that 4" + very healthy active.. my salt lvlv was .5 higher so I hope this helps with parasites. pics soon
