After a long debate I picked this up yesterday from a LFS and it has acclimated in no time without zero deflating, open mouth and happily fully attached to his island within the 24hr period it's been in my tank. I was told it's a purple Tonga Magnifica by the worker at the store who is from Tonga and said that Magnifica's from Tonga are extremely hardy compared to other regions IDK. I did notice the mouth is Magenta and not sure if the base will turn Magenta eventually and I'm still waiting for my Wild Percula pair to try out there new home.

Is that the one from Aquatic Collection? If so, it looked pretty good when I was there last weekend.

The base of a magnifica won't change colors. The tan base will stay tan. Other mags have magenta, red, or purple bases. It's also not dependent on mouth color.

Violet Sea in San Jose had at least 8-10 more, the one I bought is about 10"-12" across and he had smaller bigger ones also.

Now I'm just wondering why my wild Percula's have not attacked it yet

Did they all look the same? I'm on the hunt for one with a red base. I accidentally killed mine and haven't been able to find a replacement.
