Purple tube with bright orange end - sponge, worm?

I’ve scoured the inter webs for hours and can’t work out what this is. Any clues?

It’s got four ‘stalks’ with bright orange dots in the centre of the ends. Each stalk about 1cm long.

Either encrusting sponge or what I believe is vermetid worms. If you you see an occasional string or web come out- vermetid it is

I would play it safe and just scrape the thing off with razor. If its a sponge no harm but vemetid can be a pain and annoy your corals.

Definitely no string or web coming out of it… been watching it day and night for weeks.

I’ll prop it up in a rock away from corals and see what happens.

It’s the second one to appear. Has me intrigued!

Could it
Possibly be a sun coral that’s coming back to life? I have a dendro that looks the same way. Stalks are dead but small polyps/heads are growing in the center. Good luck
