ill try to get a picture but it goes into its tube as soon as I put a flashlight on it. It definitely has a tube it goes in. It’s just beneath my feather duster. Do feather dusters have off spring? This thing looks just like a feather duster but is purple. Again I’ll try to get a photo if I can.

There are probably hundreds of species of feather-dusters, large small and in between. This guy looks like one of them, but probably not the offspring of your nearby larger worm.

The only thing I'd do about this fellow is to enjoy his presence in the tank!

Thanks for the reply. Since it’s in a tube I thought it was probably ok in the tank. Just not sure where it came from.
