I traded and sold a few frags to people and just wondering how they are doing for you? Got pics? My mother colony is growing like mad and the stalks or pillars( what ever you SPS'ers call them) that grow out of it are about 3''-4'' now.....

The one I received from you has encrusted the entire plug. It is starting to color up but not as purple as your colony.

I really can't believe how many vertical branches it has......Now some of the taller ones are starting to get other branches on them as well.......it's almost as big around as a softball....

Thanks, it started out about the size of a silver dollar it keeps getting bigger but hasn't attached to the rock work which I thought was kinda weird. Makes it easy for fragging though.

Sure, I can get a frag started this week then it can settle and grow....

Almost has the Bonsai Growth with the twigs growing up everwhere. The coloration is suspect but the growth is Bonsai

Twigs? Is that scientific terminology?LOL...... The guy I got it from is Todd from Cherry corals and from what I understand is it has lineage back to Tyree.....Not that lineage matters to me, but from the Reeffarmers website they think it to be possibly some type of Acro. efflo, or a frag from the Purple monster but this one has white polyps where the others that they have don't.....Who knows exactly what it is but I am no expert but I sure do like it.........

The piece I got from you is still about 1" long but has totally enctusted the plug and over the edges. the coloration is still about the same as it was when I got it. Very green polyps though. I think I'm going to try lowering it in the tank and see what happens.

Glad to know it is doing OK for you.....Not sure on the lighting of it, mine since I re-aquascaped seems to have changed a bit as well with more white growth areas outlined in blue.....Not sure if the pic showed it as much or not...

I forgot to mention I do have an extra frag I made today if anyone else is interested......I plan on letting them grow out till it get warmer so who knows how big they will get over the next 2 months....
