purple up

Hello everybody, I recently bought a tank and it came with some purple up. I looked all over the bottle for some kind of expiration date but was unsuccessful. My question is can people up "go bad" so to speak?

I don't think it does, however all it is is calcium and iodine. If your calcium is in check i wouldn't even use it. If you do decide to use it, make sure you check your calcium first to be sure you aren't overdosing the tank.

And use it at night cause it makes your tank really cloudy

I read someone but can't remember we're that it is full of phosphates. I used it when I first got into the hobby and had algae problems but it could have been any number of my rookie mistakes that caused it. I would research it just to make sure .
