Hey guys
I’m new to this site. I have been reading the posts but just joined. I need some expertise
My purple urchin, after research, has bald disease. Sticky brought all kinds of issues to my 55 gal tank. Apistasia, I did get the apistsia x for this. Concerns me if it kills these little beasts it will kill my other coral n fish. I read directions and sucked out the remains. But I have others I’ll need to kill.
My big issue, after some research I think my urchin has bald diseas. I didn’t have a hospital tank when I bought him/ her. Water levels good except calcium to low so I’ve ordered. I just moved sticky to hospital tank(2gal). I ordered iodide and a test kit.
Any suggestions would be helpful.
Don’t want him to die. He’s been very active until today. He got up at the skimmer and not doing anything. Help!

Oh yea! I also found these things that look like worms with legs all around it like a centipede

Ok thanks
It looks like they are good for the test ecosystem
And hopefully won’t get out of control.
I love saltwater aquariums you learn so much about life.
Ok moved my purple urchin to the 911 tank put seaweed in for him to eat. I checked calcium and it was low so ordered from those guys that can send next day and iodide.
Do you think I’m to agresive? I want to save my buddy

Will they die. Hope so.
I guess I could pick up all the rocks and kill them. But I’m hoping they will die out.
I turned the one rock over and found this one removed to garbage disposal.
I saw another one in the same hole as my yellow watchman didn’t seam to bother him.

Hi! Need some help.
I dragged my Xenia which I thought was not poisonous to fish or other coral
Woke this morning my shrimp, coral, scallop, everything but the fish died.
Getting ready to check all levels,
I did 50% water change after
??

I would look at something else besides coral poison. Let us know the parameters

EDIT:

When was the last time you saw everything healthy?
Make any changes recently to flow, rock work or stocking (fish, coral, ect)
Do you dose?

So far I found that the water I purchased has no saline
I’m hoping my thing that measures is broken.
Calcium 440
Ph 8.2
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 0

The young lady that got water is a seasoned vet
I have water left in jug taking back to store to let them also measure both waters
Everything was happy and healthy before I fragged and then changed thewater
Lesson learned check water before using

No salt in the water would surely cause a crash. I am sorry for your losses,

The high ph and calcium would indicate that the water has something in it as if it was RODI only then I would guess the pH and calcium would be much lower haha. Get yourself a refractometer (and a spare) and keep em calibrated.
