So I have had a few tanks In the past 6 years. So I had a velvet outbreak in my tank and in short I'm going fawl to remove it. Well obviously getting fish out of tank with all the live rock is a daunting task. So short story the bottom side of my rock that was on the substrate i noticed a purple and black speckled creature going into the a hole of a rock. I was inspecting the rock to make sure I didn't have any zoas on it and wanted to get it back in the correct spot. So I saw it and really didn't know what it was so I watched it closely. It looked like a slug of some sort. And it was definently living cause it ended up crawling deep into the rock after I brought it to the surface of the water near my light to try to see what it was. I tried to get a video but it is pretty blurry. I know its far fetched that someone may know what it is with my horrible description but hoping I may get lucky

Could very well be some type of flat worm or sea slug. now whether or not it's friend or foe I have no idea.

Look up saltwater flat worms and sea slugs on google and scan through the images.

Looked alot like the end of this. But it was very purple and black

Stomatella snails do come in different colors Including black. Without a picture it's hard to ID. We can only guess.

I know I was hoping we could just randomly name a bunch and if I see something I'll go with it. Just was crazy looking. Like a piece of snot
