Found a couple of these purple worms what are they and are they harmful thanks

If it has a hard shell it's probably not a worm but a chiton a snail in fact they're harmless

No prob only kicker is I believe they do like to munch your coraline but that's about it

I have these in my tank LFS said they are harmless algee eater told me if I didn't want it they would take it.
