Push Notifications and Feedback Score

As many can remember, we had push notifications long ago!

Let’s vote together and maybe we can get Notifications back and add Feedback Scores!

Another great idea mentioned by @mfinn

Why not make a feedback score where you gain points from purchasing items or selling items. This could help buyers and sellers when doing business, could also cut back on scamming!

Push notifications are still available. You can find those under preferences. There is a plan to bring in a new feedback system with the new marketplace.

Foiling my current plans again.

Have been using this totally arbitrary system of awesomeness.

Everyones awesomeness was gauged by their headwear.

I of course am wearing this.

I believe the push notifications requires the user to use certain devices that support that feature. Or perhaps a setting on that device to be turned on, I am still using an iphone 8 so that could be why mine says not supported lol.

We get the notifications here, but not on our phones. You have to come here to see the notifications, if you forget to check in one day, you might have a message that you don’t know about. That’s what I’d like too see.

Xenforo push notifications don't play with Apple devices - last time I checked / tested they worked fine with non Apple devices.

and pine mail > gmail

and linux > windows

and token ring > thin net

etc

meanwhile - I'll enjoy the comforts of responding to a text message or making / receiving a cell phone call from whichever device is currently closest to me at the moment - which I can do because I'm willing to use an inferior product that won't even let me get a push notification from R2R.

Meanwhile I'm RDPd into a few Windows Servers and SSHd into several linux hosts. OH - and watching Grafana charts present on a RPi4 which are pulling stats from reef-pi (a few actually) running on Rpi Zero Ws.

All the platforms are the essentially the same - equitable strengths & weaknesses - with similar fan / hater ratios.
