Put a bottle in your tank

How did you sand the bottle? Tried sandpaper but it isn't doing much.

Press harder and use better, courser sandpaper. Don't sand like a Sissy, put some force into it. If you break the bottle while sanding, try not to cut your wrists.

Then you need to go to the liquer store. I think I will go also, you can't have to much liquer. I already have so many Grand Marnier bottles in my tank but I really love that stuff. I mean I love how the bottles look. It is kind of expensive but I only drink it for the empty bottle and they won't just sell me an empty bottle so I have no choice but to drink it. No, really!

i am just wondering would this increase your silica in the tank at all cause i know glass is just melted sand

No not at all. It would increase the silica about the same if you would put Paris Hilton's dog in your tank, or maybe a little less

I think instead of Marnier I would opt for a bottle from Kraken Rum.

This thread is a hidden (or not so hidden) gem!

I'm going to have to hit the liquor store on the way home now.... Gotta get a bottle of Makers Mark to try this with... and when I decide that it isn't right I'll get a bottle of Don Julio.... and when that isn't right I'll try a bottle of Glenfidisch.

Once I get my 75g up there perfect for blennys hidden or 1/2 showing I prefer. And the older the bottle the cooler.

Im about to finish me some Blantons tonight. That might be finding its way in the tank. lol
