I thought I was pouring in stability didn’t pay any attention it was a same size bottle as cupramine I just took out all fish shrimp and corals, I think the corals maybe goners but the fish and shrimp seem to be ok, how would I be able to put em in one of my other tanks, cause now they have been exposed to copper? Let me know what I have to do ASAP!

How much copper did you put in?

water change asap, and run carbon
Yep, there in a bucket with fresh saltwater I was in a panic and just place them, but I have a 32.5 gallon I can put 1 Bangaii cardinal 2 blue damsels 2 shrimp and a scotter dragonette I just dk if you can put them in there since they were exposed to copper

You can just remove a gallon of water from you other tank and throw it into a rinse bucket. Get the shrimp and corals out of the copper tank ASAP by rinsing them in that bucket and then getting them into your backup tank. This should be done as fast as humanily possible.

Carbon is going to take to long to work so I would not depend on that in the short term.

BTW if you threw in that much copper get the fish out also.

Water changes a lot, carbon, poly filter and get something like cupersorb

Yeah there out of that tank they seem to be ok, the corals are all closed up and everything not looking good at all.

Be very observant and quick to make judgement on corals that look like they are dying.
Just get them out ASAP as they will just die and start to foul the water in your second tank. Some may make it but some will probably die. The tank with the copper should just get a 100% water change and then run heavy carbon on it for a few weeks. I would expect your going to go thorugh some Algae outbreaks and other issues for several months. Treat it like a new tank and start watching Ammonia and Nitrate every day.

Go buy a TON of distilled water if you can’t find RODi local you trust. Large water changes. Has your silicone changed colors at all?
