Hey reefers I got a new fish added to the tank. And my fox face has been going after every so often can I put my fox face in the sump to let the new fish adjust?

How big is the foxface? Assuming it is on the smaller side I think it would be okay for a short time, a few days or so. But certainly not long term.
It’s medium size and yeah only for a day of 2. So the new fish can adapt and get him to start eating. Because he’s not gonna eat if the fox face is going after him

if your filtration is nice but not strong enough to harm him he will be just fine. Also nori clips do wonders but will spoil them rotten. Here’s my chunky guy

I actually added a blue spot rabbitfish and my tang was being very aggressive. I put the rabbitfish in the refugium of my sump for about a week so he could eat and settle in without any bullying. When I added him back he was eating and held his ground with the tang and they’ve been together without issues for almost a year now. The rabbit was small-medium sized. Good luck! Nori clips do help alot.
