Putting Frags in an established FoWLR

Hey all. I have a 90 Fowlr that's been up over a year. My idiotic question is, can I put frags in here and expect them to grow(know nothing bout coral)? 256 watt T5 2white 2blue. Non drilled tank with a CPR dual bakpak skimmer and about two months ago added a 110 AC HoB filter. Two wave makers. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks all

Light should be fine for softies and maybe lps but the real question is if you have fish that may eat the corals. Give us a fish list. Also your levels should be pretty welk maintained for coral. Anything good for fish will be good for a mushroom or leather.

Like classklown90 said, need more information. What types of corals are you hoping to keep, what's currently in the tank and what are your levels. Fish can live in dirty water, but corals usually struggle. Looks like just some clowns and a damsel, so fish may be ok. Leathers and mushrooms might be the place to start.

Huma trig, two clowns, hippo tang, two damsels, hawk fish algae blenny. I'll check my levels today

Huma might be a problem, don't believe they're reef safe. But you could try and see.

The pH is OK. Some people keep it a tad higher like 8.2 or 8.4. What concerns me the most is the ammonia. There should be no detectable ammonia. Also, the nitrates are high. I would concentrate on getting them in line before adding any corals or anything else for that matter.

Agreed. I wouldn't add any corals until Ammonia is 0 and Nitrates are lower. Nitrates can be lowered with water changes, but apparently you need the bateria to catch up so it can process all the Ammonia.
