I have been growing some mangroves in my sump tank but recently I want to free up some spaces.I’m considering buying a seachem tidal 110 and put my mangroves in it ,but not sure if it’s too shallow to grow roots and the flow rate might be too fast for their root if I don’t adjust the flow rate.

I see no problem with it. If they are new propagules, they'll just fill the available space with roots. If they are established trees with roots bigger than the space, they will just create air roots in response. I didn't know flow would matter. I had mine in a small tank (6"x8"x 8") fed directly from my drain so it was over 500gph which is more than the tidal 110's flow rate and they grew great. Photo was when I pulled them out to trade for some frags.

I did end up buying a tidal 75 but it was too loud so I changed my plan to just connecting a smaller tank to my sump tank using siphon. I even added a deep sand bed as substrate for my mangrove.

Not sure how you set that up but make sure the siphon can't overflow and will restart if there is a power interruption.
