Putting on my big boy pants

I’m going for it this winter
I’m gonna set up a 180gal tank in my garage and push it thru the wall into living room then wrap around the tank with old ship rope. It’s gonna be sweet. I’m gonna take my time with this one and get all my proper ducks in a row first. As in getting everything I’m gonna need in advance before putting giant hole in my wife’s living room wall,, I have a tank already it’s acrylic and it’s 6ft long 2ft deep and 30 inches high,, also have a Red Sea sump that was working on a 120 gal tank so I’m hoping that it’s big enough. So I still gotta get
Protein skimmer
Lights
UV light rated for that size tank
Plus a few odds n ends
Also toying around with the idea of getting a reef robot (not sure yet)
And an ATO gimmick thingy
So one day in near future I’ll be hanging with the big boys. Hahah lol much love reefers
This is my 65 setup as of today 7-8 months old

Really I was told by person that is Giving it to me that it’s a 180gal tank idk I haven’t picked it up yet all I saw was a pic. Guess I’ll find out when I get it. I have 55gal of fresh ocean water from 10 miles offshore and have another one I have to fill this weekend

I’ll forever use NWS in my tank,, but I have acquired a RODI 3 stage unit and will use that water for top offs so as not to screw up salinity of water, but it’s mainly NSW for me as I can’t see myself making it better than Mother Nature does,, no sub for the real thing

you better get your self a few 55 gal drums to take out on your boat 180 gal of water is a lot of 5 gal buckets ...lol
