Putting rock in before sand? Or After?

Who here has put their rock in before adding their sand?

On my last tank i put the sand in first and added rock after and had no issues, but have seen some comments saying rock should always go in first. Reason i ask is im currently waiting on a delivery of sand but have my aquascape set up on the kitchen floor and im eager to put it in

Anyone had any issues going rock first?

I've always done rock first so that animals can't bury under the rock causing it to shift.

Can’t see any reason it should make a difference.

I've always done sand first, never been an issue for me, 15+ years.
