Putting together Waterbox 230.6 build

Here is a pic... if it was the sand its my fault... build was delayed two months...

Here are pics of the final scape... it changed quite a bit as I was unable to make the other stable on glass. Sand may have helped, but I didn't want to risk it. Really happy with final prdouct!

Also, upon closer inspection, the plague was a pod-pocalypse...
LR has been cycling for last 10 weeks. Added chaeto about 6 weeks ago.... It would appear that there was a booming pod population on the rock that sat out while I dreamed up scapes...

I like it a lot. I think you did achieve the perspective objective

The aquascaping looks really nice indeed!

Flow ratings...

I installed the FMM and have found that even with the drain WIDE open I cannot push much more than 550 gph without sucking my return pump dry. Anyone else seeing this? My Syncra is running at 20-25% flow...

Yes I have the same problem
Added a few more gallons and can now crank it up to 900 gph. Was trying to keep from flooding up the skimmer chamber much when return pump shuts down, but had to do this in order to establish higher flow rates.

Dr Tim's Ammonia processed like a champ. Matched SG's and temps to the QT. Clowns are finally home after 31 day QT. Just didn't have the patience for all 76 days... Got them from a great shop though, so I am feeling good. Thanks, Matt!

It seems that I had too much fun feeding my new friends and also kicked up too much silica that had settled on sand and LR... the algae/diatom bloom has begun.

40gal water change complete

Lights out for 3 days...
