Putting two sumps together?

Ive never done it but it seems like you would have to drill them both and connect them via plumbing. This would be the only safe way.

Here is an example from early in my build. There are two pipes, one is always dry, the emergency connection in case one clogs.

Hope this is useful info

I would recommend using flex pipe between them solely for the purpose of crack prevention. You never know if the vibrations or shifting could crack the glass...

+1, wish I would have done that. If they move at all it can make the bulkheads leak. The flex would take that up...

i had 2 sumps at one time in the past i used a 2" blukhead on the bottom side of each sump and connected with pvc

water from overflow went into one sump and the return pump was in the other sump so it pulled water across the pvc pipe
