PVC/Hybrid Acrylic should I put something under it?

PVC/Hybrid Acrylic, I was wondering if I need to put anything under it in my stand? The stand is solid, I was thinking something like neoprene foam or do I put nothing under it?

Do what the manufacturer tells you to do.....they are almost always specific about it.
