PVC or Vinyl Plumbing for Sump

I am moving sump about 30 feet away from the tank.
What is best -- PVC or vinyl tubing?
I would like to use the tubing to keep it simple of just a connection at the tank and one at the sump, but I don't want to have any issues with algae growing in the tube. If I go to the tubing, does it need to be reinforced or is plain ok?

Also, I saw black tubing that is not reinforced. Would this be good to keep algae away?

I would go with pvc.

If you do not want algae then go with black tubing. No light = no algae growth. Try to get the pressure rating of the tubing. Unless it is super thin I dont think you will have problems/

How about flex PVC. The challenge with vinyl, and the main reason I don’t use it anymore, is flow loss due to friction and barb fittings. Flex PVC has the malleability of vinyl but will solvent weld into standard fittings.

And just use vinyl tube at pump connections

I vote pvc you wont have to worry about leaks and flow reductions from barb fittings.
