PVC pipe or PEX, which is better for mix station?

I am making my mixing station FINALLY! I am debating between PVC and PEX pipe. I NEED to keep the water sterile (making Phyto) and want to know what you all think which is better?

I don't think there will be any difference using either one. Which one works the best and is the lowest cost? I like the rigid pvc over the PEX myself.

I agree with you on the rigid part, the 2 reasons I am considering PEX is I thought it was more "food safe" then PVC, and because I will need to clean the brutes regularly, it might be easier to remove the piping if they have some flexibility. Thoughts?

I’d elect pex. Tin compounds are common heat stabilizers in pvc.

No, but with being around saltwater, and possibly getting dripped on. I could coat them in silicone, that might help.
