PVC plumbing question

Hello I have a pump that has the return glued with a union, I cannot buy the the other half of the. union, it is a King. KBI USA brand, e.bay and amazon advertise that they have them and then ship an off brand in its place.

So my problem is that I sanded out the 3/4" PVC pipe that was glued in, but I did too much now the pipe is loose, is there a type of glue that can make up for a sloppy fit?

hi ,good thin coat, hour later repeat. let dry 4-6 hrs.
good stuff...

So do a like coat and let that dry and then add another layer and then assemble?

NO, glue and assemble 1st coat, 2nd is just over joint.
kinda roll a thin bead ,at joint on 2nd coat,will last forever..
