Pvc primer and cement down the pipe

Just a quick question because it’s been awhile since I’ve don’t this part. If you were a bit sloppy with the pvc cement and primer and it was dry in the pipe as well as the joints. Is that ok. As in won’t leach out into my tank water. I feel the answer is no I’m fine because it has to run over the joints anyway but I’m just checking.

You good. Once cured it will not leach out.
