Hey im Building a Breeding rack for clowns. I have the main plumbing fixture plumbed in. But im wondering if i should Glue my valves in place or if they will work fine by Just inerting into the pipes? I just dont want to have one Blow out! But i like the idea of being able to remove something for what ever reason i want.

Don't hundred percent follow. But if you mean you have a slip ball valves, yes they should be glued. But if your able to return them and get what they call a true union. It's got union fitting built in. Sometimes cheaper to buy a union and valve discreetly

Yea i just glued them on. After thinking about it im Leaving the End piece of PVC pipe loose. Its only going to have the water flowing thru it into the tank. If it would ever fall off its not a big deal. The flow wont change or make a mess. It just will empty into the tank closer to the Drain. LOL i dont know why i stressed so much about it.

what about the drains ? I wanted to use them with the ability to slip them off if needed. But running a test they develop a drip...... Can i get by with just Glueing the Fitting going into my bulkhead ?

Yea i would do things diff now. LOL but my stand, And plumbing dont allow for adding them.:squigglemouth: For now ill try glueing just the pipe that comes out of the bulkhead. Thats the only spot that leaks. Drip, drip drip Verry little. But i dont want to have any water issues in my back room so im testing with tap water till this is all tight!

When i build my Grow out rack ill do it the right way! lol

I here ya. Good testing with tap water.
