I am finishing up my tank and I would like to plumb the bio-pellet reactor off of the main pump to reduce the number of pumps I have taking up room in the Sump. I have it currently plumbed with PVC and I know that they make PVC to vinyl connectors because I have seen ppl use them on the web. I looked at lowe's the other day and the guy working in the plumbing said they dont exist. Does anyone know where I can find them locally? I really don't want to buy them over the internet because I would like to see what I am buying. Thanks

Do u mean like to connect pvc to regular clear tubing? Just get barbed pieces lows definately carries them one end is threaded to screw into pvc other end is barbed for tubing. They are grey and are like 1 aisle over at my lowes. They also carry barbed x slip pieces i forget exact name. But those are white and are with all the other pvc pieces. They slip over pvc and have barbed end for clear or braided tubing.

If I remember right, I saw the barbed vinyl pieces at Lowe's in the automated sprinkler area near the black pvc gear. If the manual search fails ask the guy where the grey PVC stuff is, but tell him "not the electrical conduit PVC" because that's surely where he'll send you first.

So I took more time Friday night to walk around Lowe's and I was able to find the connectors. As McAllyn said they are near the black PVC. Thanks for everyone's help.
