I assumed baby Ceriths since they lay eggs like crazy, but doing some research found that they usually die before you even see them. So... Death and destruction???

Saw that same comparison late last night. I'm pretty sure I can see the crossed ridges, but they are so tiny it's really hard to tell!

No, I was thinking the same thing. My phone won't focus that close. I'm trying to charge my camera battery before lights come on

I enlarged the picture and messed with it in photoshop last night when I posted. I could see the checker board type pattern. The swirl on the tip is super hard to see, even with a good macro lens. I've never been able to capture it in photos. I've since bought a microscope, but of course I haven't seen a specimen since.
The fact they are up on the glass is a good hint they aren't after meat, but are herbivores enjoying lunch.
If you'd like to throw a couple in an envelope, I'll take some macro shots for you with a regular camera, as well as microscope photos to confirm exactly what they are.

My tank has baby trochus, turbos, ceriths, nassarias ,nd even my hermit crabs shake there bootys full of eggs everynight that i thought for about 2 years it was my cleaner shrimp cuz they look like little mysis shrimp, nd my tank is no different then others =)I assumed baby Ceriths since they lay eggs like crazy, but doing some research found that they usually die before you even see them. Can't really enlarge it, but you know what I'm going to say, don't ya...... if it looks like a duck.... That's pyram behavior. One on a shell, not so much. Two, maybe a coincidence. Three..... O.O

Those are pyramid snail from what i can see imo... i had some and devoured two clams and some snails they would always be just like the pic above shows hanging out on the shell...start manual removal .....do you have any clams?
