Pyramid snails

Anybody have any suggestions on what to do about pyramid snails? I find them on astrea snails constantly. One day I pick a few off, a day or two later there are more on the astrea. I tried going about 2 months without any astrea, but as soon as I put some in my tank the pyramids are back on them.

i have gone with out snail sense i had them. there are none in my tank now as i have starved them out. beed a while for me, 2 years and no snails. if you removed their food for some time, you should be able to add more down the road but inspect them before adding maybe even scrape and scrab them down before adding.
