Morning:)
Anyone know how long it takes to starve pyramid snails. Anything other than my snails and conch that I need to remove in order to starve them?

I saw an old article on ReefKeeping that said several weeks. For some reason I want to say 2-3 months (can not remember were I got that number).

Yup just remove your snails.

If you have an infestation, put the clam on wide parameter PVC, like a pedestal. Check at night and manually remove.

Nasty little buggers.

Unfortunately I just lost my clam last night but I want to make sure they are all dead before I move on

BTW, I never had any luck with Wrasses. The snail is nocturnal, and the fish diurnal.

Manual removal and a lot of persistence is what worked for me. You have remove the snail eggs as well.

You are doing the right thing if you can starve the snails out.

Good luck on your next clam.
