So, In addition to my saltwater tanks, I have a 55 gallon RES tank and its very hard to do enough water changes to keep the tank very clean. Turtles are very dirty creatures. My question is, I us RO/DI water on everything, but with this new python no spill system, is there a way to use RO/DI water? I know its function is to flip the knob and it returns tap to the tank. Any ideas?

it works with the water supply pressure creating the venturi flow. You would need to have something to create that pressure. You might be better off removing the water with the python, then adding rodi with a pump and not the python.

That is a good idea! I will certainly get another water pump and pump it from the RO/DI water container. It is certainly going to be much easier to drain the water though! I do fairly large water changes when I do them. Almost 40-75% of the water. Thank you for the idea!
