Hey everyone, Im new to the forum and recently back into the hobby with a Red Sea Reefer 350. I have some questions on gear and stocking. Someone local is tearing down a build and is selling a Icacap K2-160 skimmer which is rated for tanks bigger than mine. Is this too big? I know too big of a skimmer and you can have issues with it actually pulling anything out. Otherwise I am considering the Red Sea skimmer as an alternative. Any suggestions there?

As far as stocking the tank goes, I am aiming for roughly 10 fish the largest of which being a small yellow tang. Am I in the right ballpark?

Thanks for the help, I'm excited to get back in to this very expensive hobby.

I can only answer you on the fish part. I got a 350 cycled recently and now just running with two corals in it as the fish are now hard to come by and expensive. A small yellow tang will do and which it will be one of my fish. If the 10 fish you’re stock are small, that should be good to go. I wouldn’t have two tangs tho.
