Ammonia in toxic did 25% 5 gallons in qt changed in matter of 6 hours from not being there to toxic any other ways to get it to go down

You could add an ammonia binder or neutralizer to help.Being a QT tank though,I would just do a massive water change

Should I do more then a 5 gallon 20 gallon tank

I'd do a 50% or more if levels were running toxic

Ok doing another 5 right now dropped since first wc down to alarm wrasse is out now not looking dead

Also should I even add copper back into the tank today which is Friday 26 is day 29 in copper they look all good nothing on the fish

I've always done huge water changes in QT tanks for instances like this and has worked well for me.

You should continue your copper regimen as instructed by the company/bottle until completed. It's just like people taking a round of anti biotics.

Ok I’ll add some in now and test in the morning I’ll keep the copper in for maybe another couple of days

Thank you so much it is now down in a light green area so I will check on it in the morning
