You'll want to do a mix of tank water and new saltwater. And have some sort of bacterial housing such as a sponge or filter floss

Water from a clean, parasite free DT is good. I like to add a HOB sponge that's been soaking in the DT sump and a foam bubbler filter sponge and something like fluval's or Seachem's bio media as well.
